Laolu is the CEO of Fort Succession Capital, a private equity investment firm based in Toronto, Canada. He brings over 12 years of experience in private equity investments, portfolio company management and financial advisory.Laolu has sourced, evaluated, invested in and managed many successful and growing portfolio companies. Prior to Fort Capital, he was a private equity investment professional at BCI and IMCO (Canadian pension fund investment managers with $200 billion and $70 billion in AUM respectively), the World Bank IFC, and ARM-Harith Infrastructure Fund. He also advised clients at Travant Capital and KPMG.Over the past five years, Laolu has been an active participant and contributor to Boards and Senior Management teams of multiple portfolio companies across various sectors and geographies.
Laolu holds an MBA from the University of Toronto, a bachelor’s degree in accounting, and is a Chartered Accountant.
